From August 28 to September 4, Kyiv Design Week (KDW) will take place in Kyiv for the second time – an event that will showcase the multifaceted potential of design. The Design Week aims to transform urban locations into environments for experimenting with forms and meanings, as well as for dialogue and collaboration between creators.
The first stage of the event is the acceptance of applications from designers, institutions, brands, independent projects, and locations.
This year's event is also unique due to the collaboration between Kyiv Design Week and Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25. The cooperation of the two weeks will allow for a broader and deeper coverage and demonstration of all spheres of design.
Curated projects will take place at various partner locations, which, along with individual participant locations, will form the KDW 2024 map – creating new favorite tourist routes for city dwellers and visitors of the capital. Among the partner locations of KDW 2024 are MacPaw Space, the SINCE Bookstore on Khreshchatyk, the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine in Pyrohiv, and the main location of Ukrainian Fashion Week SS25.
